About Me

I have been a professional author/illustrator for many years and have written and/or illustrated over 40 books. I graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York with a BFA in illustration. I also earned my Montessori certificate in early education from the Bank Street College and was a preschool teacher for several years in NYC. That experience gave me a good foundation in how to teach art.

I live in New York's Mid-Hudson Valley with my husband, dog and cats. I have a grown daughter who now lives in NYC.
